Murray State’s Hopkinsville Campus To Host Passenger Vehicles For Solar Eclipse

Murray State University is hosting passenger vehicles on their Hopkinsville Campus during the August 21 solar eclipse.

The Hopkinsville area is ‘the point of greatest eclipse’ and tens of thousands of people are expected to come to the region.

Participants can purchase a space in the lot off of MSU Drive to the northwest of the campus located east of the Breathitt Veterinary Center. Murray State is selling spacesby the vehicle-load so the number of visitors in each vehicle does not impact price. Only four-wheeled passenger vehicles will be permitted. Campus facilities will not be open to the public, but on site portable toilets will be available. Tickets can be purchased online.
