Kentucky Senate President David Williams and his wife are divorcing after nine years of marriage.  In a statement from Williams’ office Monday, Robyn Williams says the "rough-and-tumble pressures" of politics put "unique and incessant pressure" on their relationship. David Williams was the Republican nominee for governor last year but lost to Democratic incumbent Steve Beshear.  Robyn Williams has been mentioned as a possible candidate for state attorney general in 2015.  David Williams says his wife has "decided to take her life in a different direction." Williams says he greatly admires his wife and wishes her the best.  Robyn Williams says she has great respect for her husband and says they decided to part amicably.

Todd Hatton hails from Paducah, Kentucky, where he got into radio under the auspices of the late, great John Stewart of WKYX while a student at Paducah Community College. He also worked at WKMS in the reel-to-reel tape days of the early 1990s before running off first to San Francisco, then Orlando in search of something to do when he grew up. He received his MFA in Creative Writing at Murray State University. He vigorously resists adulthood and watches his wife, Angela Hatton, save the world one plastic bottle at a time.
